On October 29, the Polish Embassy in Vilnius hosted an expert and business seminar entitled "The Role of Central and Eastern Europe in Global Supply Chains – Opportunities and Challenges. Views from Warsaw, Vilnius, and Seoul." The Polish-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce was a partner of the event. The seminar was opened by Mr. Grzegorz Marek Poznański, Chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Poland in Lithuania, and Mr. Jeon Joyoung, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea. Mr. Taurimas Valys, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, and Ambassador Witold Sobków, Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland for the Indo-Pacific, presented opportunities for Poland and Lithuania to participate in global transport routes and cooperate with the Indo-Pacific region. Two panel discussions were also held as part of the seminar. The first panel discussed the prospects for increasing economic cooperation between Central Europe and the Indo-Pacific region. The second panel presented advanced technological solutions developed by Polish and Lithuanian scientists and used in both countries.
