Polish-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce is an exclusive association of companies and individuals involved, or intending to get involved, in Polish-Lithuanian business relations. The Chamber gathers and analyzes information about business opportunities in Poland and Lithuania, manages relationships with decision makers and stakeholders as well as organizes conferences and networking events.
The Chamber contributes to creation of favorable climate for Polish-Lithuanian business projects, dynamic trade between the countries, inflow of investments and reduction of obstacles for business cooperation of business in Poland and Lithuania.
Important form of activities is knowledge and experience sharing between the members. Every month, the Chamber organizes club meetings for its members. They provide platform for networking and knowledge sharing. The Chamber consists of companies and managers with vast experience and unique expertise in Polish and Lithuanian business – multiplication of these resources strengthens business potential of member organizations.
“Nowadays, we see the growth in importance of specific intangible asset - social capital, defined as complex of knowledge, experience, social networks, mutual inspiration, trust and alliances. The Chamber is a toll to build such social capital for its members. The formula enables building social capital effectively, utilizing the economy of scale” – says Jarosław Niewierowicz, President of the Chamber.
The Chamber, as it associates reputable organizations and has aspiration to become a reliable partner for public administration of both countries, pays much attention for integrity and reputation. New members are carefully checked and their membership is a subject of acceptation procedure; having any grounded objections a member may be excluded from the Chamber. All these procedures are to ensure that Chamber’s members meet high standards, are reliable, transparent and ethical.
Potential partners of the Chamber are, among others: governments of both countries, Trade and Investement Promotion Section of Embassy of the Republic of Poland, Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Warsaw, VšĮ „Versli Lietuva", PARP, PAIIZ, ,,Investuok Lietuvoje’’, other business and social organizations.
